Milwaukee Drill Repair

Thanks for the great service. I have an older Milwaukee Hole Shooter drill motor that the switch finally gave out on. It turns out that Milwaukee used a few different switches on these drills, and my specific serial number wasn't listed. Using your parts illustrations for the switches, I was able to find the right one, order it and have it shipped to me in less than a week. The drill is ready for another 10 years of hard work- thanks to you.

Thank you for carrying the parts for my Bosch tools. I use bosch because of the outstanding quality, and their tools really do hold up well, also every one else in town has DeWalt and its nice to know if I see a Bosch tool I know its mine. But im amazed how hard to is to find parts. If it werent for toolpartsdirect, I would have to go through Bosch inc., and we all know what a pain that would be. They have authorized repair shops but it can take up to 6 weeks turn around. Thanks again,

Replace Stripped Fitting and Bearing

Gentlemen:

 

The same day that your package of parts arrived in the mail, I was able to install the bushing?(part no 27) and bearing on my Bosch 3283DVS orbital sander.  The only special tool that I used was a snap ring pliers to remove the retaining snap ring.  In place of a special wheel puller, I removed the old bushing and bearing together by inserting a long threaded bolt into the bushing,  and inserted the head of the bolt into a slot in one end of flat pry bar.  I then struck down (away from the unit) on the exposed length of the pry bar, removing the bushing and bearing in one piece.

 

The new bushing, bearing and retaining screw all fit perfectly, and my 15 year old Bosch orbital sander is humming away like new!
